Lifted purple florals on a perfumed nose of salted plum and raspberry strap, with eucalyptus, baked rock, dried bush floor and salted liquorice starting to arrive. Intense and vibrant palate, with acidity keeping this boisterous, while the fruit density is plush and wholesome, showing cedar, tobacco smoke, a little leather and spice box. Tannins are voluminous yet fine and almost melting. Impressive length and plenty of complexity, the lightness of touch and fluidity in the glass belies its fruit weight and concentration. Showing great evolution, it's name is a nod to the native Jarrah tree. Vines are over 40 years old. Points: 95/100
