Aroma
Nose-embracing with scents of flowers (rosehip, violet)
and buttery notes opening to raspberry and cherry.
Maturation
About 12-16 months in large barrels.
Appearance
Deep and intense garnet red.
Palate
Warm, mouth-filling taste with soft broad tannins, a
sumptuous elegant wine, with a long finish recalling the
aromas revealed on the nose.
Vinification
In stainless steel for about
30-40 days with submergerd cap.
Region Notes
Nebbiolo 100%, coming from the Rabajà Cru, in the
village of Barbaresco. The soil is clay, tuff with marl
and limestone. The average age of the vines is
around 50-60 years.
