Tasting Notes

Aroma

The nose, very open and expressive, delivers aromas of fruit and brioche. It also gives off the fragrance of peach, white flowers (hawthorn, acacia) and vanilla pod.

Appearance

The brilliant body is golden yellow in colour.

Palate

The entry onto the palate is lively, fresh and in total harmony. This is a delicate wine with flavours of fresh fruit and honey. Brut Prestige is aged in the cellar for three to four years to reach perfect maturity and develop excellent aromatic potential.

    (This is a different blend to the Brut Reserve and spends an extra year on lees) Fresh herbs, green apples, trace of honey, chard-ish aromas. Clean and fresh, bright and soft, balanced and the finish seems drier than the Brut Reserve. There's a pleasing crispness on the after-palate, enhanced by a subtle grip. Very good focus, finesse, line and length. Very refreshing finish. Points: 91/100
