Aroma

Elegant aromas of white peach, lemon, blossoms, fresh-cut herbs, and passionfruit.

Maturation

4 months.

Appearance

Pale lemon in colour.

Palate

The aromas follow through to the palate, which is met with crisp acidity. The wine is harmonised by the stoney minerality, subtle salinity, and chalky texture that the old river stones of our vineyards provide.

Vinification

10% hand harvested. 10% whole bunch, 90% destemmed fruit. Stainless steel tanks, French oak barriques and puncheons.

Vintage Notes

A warm, dry season moderated by cool nights allowed for gradual and unhindered ripening of fruit. A great year.

Food Matching

Fresh oysters, shellfish, goat cheese, grilled white fish and Asian cuisine.

Citrus-driven aromas with undertones of white pepper, jalapeno, lime leaf, crushed stones and flint. The palate is light-bodied, with a bright line of acidity and a tightly wound mouthfeel, finishing with a mineral edge. Nicely constructed, with a good core of fruit. Drink now. Screw cap. Points: 92/100
