Credaro Kinship Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

The 2021 vintage was not one of the easiest to work with in the west, so congrats to the viti and the vini team at Credaro. Quality like this just doesn’t happen. Concentrated dark berries, rosemary, thyme, leaves, bay leaf, earth with some gravelly edges. There’s a full complement of flavours to be enjoyed here. The palate runs intense dark berry with herbal flavours across beautifully textured tannins. Oak is quietly placed in the background. It finishes a little sinewy on the finish, but satisfying nonetheless. Points: 94/100

A splendid expression of the variety, showing cassis, cigar, olive, warm spice and cedar characters on the nose. The palate offers terrific fruit richness as well as refined mouthfeel and fine flow backed by chalky tannins, finishing impressively long and engaging.  Points: 95/100
