    The pinot grigio grape is a strength of the King Valley, combining not only the Valley's strong Italian connection but its extraordinary suitability to Italian grape varieties. A fine expression of the grape, ever so coolly, subtly, delivering spring flowers and citrus with tart green apple and quince on the point of ripeness on a line of high tensile acidity. A touch of lemongrass and green almond grip adds a pleasing final note. Points: 93/100
