Palate
A roaring new white wine joins the Fat Bastard
tribe! But this Chenin Blanc is no wallflower. True to
the Fat Bastard style, this Chenin Blanc has an added
complexity and rich mouth feel that envelops the palate
with lashings of honey, apples and quince. Balanced with
zippy acidity, this will be one you keep coming back for!
Vintage Notes
2023 was a promising vintage in the region despite a
wet season. Heavy winter rains helped to restore the
depleted water tables that had suffered from years of
drought. Summer was cooler than normal which lead
to a slower phenolic ripeness, however the aromatics
and acidity were perfectly preserved. The resulting wine
is rich with beautifully intense aromatic character and
refreshing acidity.

tossed in lemon butter.
