Toni Paterson
A stunning semillon with amazing purity, freshness and flavour. It is classical in nature, though it has just enough inherent palate generosity, reflecting the slightly higher alcohol, to make it approachable as a young wine. Glorious lemon juice characters persist through the length of the palate, and there's lovely grapefruit pithiness on the close. It is made from a blend of fruit from the Murphy and Blackberry Vineyards. Cool fermentation. No lees maturation. Drinking beautifully now, though will cellar in the short- to mid-term. Incredible value. Points: 96/100
