First planted in 1971, the Hickinbotham Vineyard is situated on the hills of Clarendon, at the northern edge of McLaren Vale. It produces famously resilient wines with highly expressive character. A unique contoured and sloping vineyard with high elevation, ancient geology and cooling breezes, which funnel through from the hills above and the coast below. Wines crafted by Napa Valley mountain winemaker Chris Carpenter (Bordeaux varietals) and Yangarra winemaker, Peter Fraser (Rhône varietals). Vineyard is certified Australian Organic and Biodynamic and a certified member of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia. Global acclaim: 95-99 points from renowned international reviewers including the Halliday Wine Companion, The Real Review and Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate. Sustainable Winegrowing Australia certified, organic, biodynamic.
