Cherry, blueberry, and red plum are complemented by subtle layers of green tea and spice. Richly textured, supple tannins, vibrant acidity drives a long finish.
Vinification
Sourced from Estate Sealift Vineyard in the Western Sonoma Coast AVA. The vineyard is approximately 3 miles from the Pacific ocean at 700-900 feet in elevation. 150 planted acres on Goldridgesoils.
Vintage Notes
The west Sonoma Coast had a challenging growing season in 2022. With a relatively dry winter and early budbreak prompted by warm weather in February, leaving vines susceptible to early season frosts. Overall Spring and early summer were warm and relatively trouble free. The heat turned up in late August and early September, which accelerated ripening and brought a rapid, fast paced harvest. Our Pinot Noir harvest began on September 8th.
