This is what pét-nat should be all about: vibrant, fresh and flavoursome yet with complexity and free of wine faults (as should any wine be, really). This comes with a mid-copper blush and it’s super alive, so be careful when opening – it can turn into a lava pour as soon as you turn your back. Red berries and watermelon, spicy with crunchy acidity and lovely texture – slightly creamy with a light savoury, phenolic pull to the finish and a slip of sweetness to round everything out. Points: 95/100
