Tasting Notes

Vinification

Destemmed grapes ferment in vats during 3 to 4 weeks. Aging takes place in oak barrels produced by our cooperage Cadus during 18 months.

Cellaring Potential

10 years and more, even 15/20 years.

Winemakers Comments

Jadot Gevrey Chambertin wines are produced from vineyards lying on the extension of the slope on which the Grands and Premiers Crus are situated. These vineyards vary considerable in quality, and the name of the producer is thus more important here than elsewhere. Maison Louis Jadot vinifi es the production of growers with whom it holds purchase agreements based on the quality of the harvest each year.

Region Notes

Gevrey Chambertin is the most northern of the great communes of the Côte de Nuits. There are 26 Premiers Crus and 8 Grands Crus.
