Whilst the aromas are not initially forthcoming, with time in the glass the wine opens to reveal rock melon and ripe white peach. Creamy texture, very silky and polished. A bigger-framed wine, plenty of richness and concentration to support the spicy oak. A bold, very appealing wine. Points: 94/100
A powerful, intense wine with lemon blossom and flint aromatics. Round and textured with subtle toasty complexity and a nutty hazelnut finish. Points: 94/100
Sliced apples with chalk, stone and slate undertones to the aromas. Medium-bodied, this has beautiful, creamy tannin texture and a flavorful finish. Almost salty at the end with some nougat. Drink or hold. Screw cap. Points: 93/100
Rich, weighty chardonnay that nicely balances fruit and alcohol sweetness against gently tangy acidity. The result is a deliciously accessible wine that offers good drinking now but promises to develop well with bottle age. Points: 95/100
