Tasting Notes

Aroma

An elegant fragrance of red-fruits, dusted spice and lifted white pepper.

Palate

The palate brims with dark berry fruits and delivers a silky textured mouth feel which finishes with long, fine tannins.

Vinification

A Canberra regional blend, consisting of 7 different vineyard parcels. Grapes were hand harvested between 12.5 and 13.3 Baume and processed into 3 tonne open fermenters with 30% of Whole bunches, balance whole berries. Matured in 25% new French barriques, balance in seasoned French barriques for 10 months. The parcels were blended and bottled in March 2024.

Since our beginnings, well over a decade ago, our focus has always been to make hand worked Shiraz and Riesling wines that truly exhibit the character of our region as well as expressing our unique personality and style.

Incredibly bright with a dark red-purple hue; heady aromas of black pepper and Middle Eastern spices with upfront red and black plums. It feels light, easy to drink, with fine tannins and a thin veil of acidity. More a drink-now option, and very happy with that. Points: 92/100

Youthful and bright red in the glass. Pretty and lifted aromas of bramble, Asian spice, blueberry, cloves, sap and a whole bunch lift. Mid-weight, bright, crunchy and punchy in flavour. There's a drive of blue fruits, nutty oak, briar, spice and a woodsy earthiness. Firm on the finish and with a decent lick of acidity. Points: 90/100
