Jane Faulkner
All up, 10 hours' skin contact then pressed to stainless steel and left on lees for around 10 months. It has texture and body although it’s by no means voluminous, as it’s tightly wound by the acidity, which is exhilaratingly fresh. Aromas and flavours of honeydew, citrus, blanched stinging nettles, coriander and the merest hint of white pepper and fennel. Pleasingly savoury, too. It oscillates well between complex/detailed and highly gluggable/refreshing. Points: 95/100
