Gary Walsh
It has the varietal signature of GV with apple, green melon, some spice cupboard, aniseed, white pepper and citrus zest. It’s fleshy and has some weight and richness, a little savoury/umami complexity, a fair bit of spice, balanced acidity with some powdery grip, and a cinch of grapefruit pith on a finish of good length. Excellent. A little more weighty and complex than previous iterations, perhaps. Points: 93/100
