This is light and juicy, but, wow, does it finish the job beautifully through the finish! There's no heaviness to this wine – it's essentially built on acidity – but for character and complexity, it really has it going on, and at least, if not more importantly, it's really up there for drinkability too. As they say, delicioso! Points: 94/100
Grown at 650 meters above sea level on ancient decomposed granite soils. Matured in sandstone amphoras. Boysenberry, blood plum, dried roses and herbs, a little aniseed and spice. It’s medium-bodied, a whole lot of crunch and energy, cool glassy acidity, super fine slate-like tannin, a slight fresh tomato tang, and a frisky finish of excellent length and freshness. You can tell it’s Malbec, but also, gee, it’s a lot like a good Teroldego. I really like this. Points: 94/100
