Aroma
The wine captivates with its vibrant colour and rich aromas of redcurrant, black
cherry, prune, and cinnamon.
Maturation
The separate wines were then run to a mixture of new and seasoned French
oak barriques for 11 months’ maturation.
Appearance
At its core, the Estate Pinot Noir '24 displays a red cherry hue with a garnet edge.
Palate
The palate is soft, generous, and energetic, featuring
ripe fine tannins with hints of raspberry, liquorice, and spice.
Vinification
The individual lots were each destemmed, cold soaked followed by a traditional plunged
fermentation. The resulting wines underwent extended maceration on skins before
pressing.
Cellaring Potential
Delicious now, Estate Pinot Noir ’24 will continue to evolve in bottle for six years
from harvest.
Food Matching
Rounded and supple, it
pairs beautifully with duck pancakes or beef carpaccio.
