Aaron Brasher
Deep, dark and inky in the glass. Heady aromas of plum conserve, sweet spice, clove-like oak, dried herbs, briar and earth. The flavours are full bore, rich and opulent. There’s a drive of dark fruits, spice, licorice, iodine and sweet oak, teaming pretty well with punchy acidity and textured, shapely tannins. Big, brazen, full flavoured and has lovely purity and poise. Points: 93/100
