Aroma
Pure fruited aromas of redcurrant and cinnamon.
Appearance
Beautifully intense purple colour.
Palate
There is follow through on to the palate with fresh acidity keeping the wine lively and
vibrant.
Vinification
The fruit is destemmed with majority whole berries and
some whole clusters and fermented to dryness and pressed directly to
500L, 600L and 2,400L neutral French oak. The wine remained in oak on
full lees where it matured until bottling in February 2024.
Cellaring Potential
Ready to drink now whilst it retains it’s youthful vibrancy but will drink well over the next 5 – 8 years.
