A sparkler from Burgundy made by the Charmat process, this is good value and pleasant drinking. Made as a Blanc de Blancs style, and coming from Burgundy, we can assume that there is every chance that this is Chardonnay. Not everyone reveals their secrets. A vibrant pineapple yellow, this is fresh and floral. The nose is a mix of citrus, stonefruit and the tropicals, with a touch of peach, grapefruit and passionfruit. A mid-length style, this is clean with a minerally support. Pleasingly taut, a touch of sour lemon ties the finish together. For enjoying over the next two to four years. Points: 90/100
