The name Cool Woods was inspired by the Eden Valley vineyards - the rolling hills that are home to their vines were once heavily forested with eucalypt. Some majestic gumtrees remain, providing a reminder of what the landscape once looked like. Cool Woods produces wines using fruit from their own vineyards, along with grapes from other South Australian winemaking regions. This ensures consistency, good varietal character and acid structure – creating crisp, clean whites and well-balanced reds.
