Tasting Notes

Aroma

Cherry, red plum, floral strawberry, fig, oregano, thyme, dried roses.

Maturation

8 months in 15% new oak and 85% old French oak.

Appearance

Bright crimson red in colour.

Palate

This Sangiovese is light to medium-bodied red wine that tips towards higher levels of mouth-watering acidity and medium tannins. It is fruit forward and round, exhibits red plum, cherry, floral strawberry, tomatoes, leather, baking spice, dried roses and secondary notes of truffles.

Food Matching

Hearty bean and vegetable soup, pecorino cheese, beef ragu, gnoc- chi with sage and butter sauce.
