The Roux family has been producing wine in Saint-Aubin since 1885, and is now run by fifth generation Mathieu and Sébastien Roux. Focusing on Domaine wines (70 hectares), they are restoring forgotten lieux-dits and making new acquisitions in Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin. Attention to detail is scrupulous. Vinification is by site with limited additions in both the vineyard and the winery, to protect the origins and terroir of the fruit for the purest possible expression.
