An impressive and complex expression of almonds, bread, and honey with lemon in
the background. Wonderful, rich, and complex attack, marked by precise notes of fresh and dried
fruits, apricot and almonds notes.
Vinification

(30% new casks). Maturation during 12-14 months in cellar for ageing, stored in barrels.
Region Notes
With 395,84 ha of vines, most of which are Chardonnay, Meursault stands out as one
of Burgundy’s key appellations. Its vineyards almost always face East and cover gentle slopes.
Meursault is an appellation from the Côte de Beaune. The soil of this parcel is rather deep and is
composed of alternating layers of clay and limestone covered with a considerable amount of
calcareous gravel. This lends a great deal of fruit and richness to the wine.
