Head Wines was established in 2006, is family owned and currently produces wines from over 50 sites (some up to 165 years of age) from across the Barossa & Eden Valleys. Winemaking is minimal intervention, low preservative and vegan friendly from Mediterranean and classical Barossan varieties. A Real Review Top 50 Australian Winery for 2023 & The Blonde & The Brunette are Classified Wines of Australia. Winemaker Alex Head is a Wine Show Judge and was a Finalist in the 2020 Gourmet Traveller Winemaker of the Year. A James Halliday Red 5 Star Rated Winery, 2020 Grenache Challenge Winner and 2021 Top Ten Best Value Winery.
