Winemakers Comments

An incredibly versatile variety, Chardonnay thrives in almost all climates successfully making a variety of styles from lean, aromatic and minerally in cool climates to full bodied and buttery styles from warmer regions. Not to mention Champagne. However, the most celebrated Chardonnay’s tend to originate from cool climates such as its home in Burgundy and new world regions such as the Adelaide Hills

Pale straw with aromas of crunchy white peach, pear and grapefruit with hints of clotted cream, soft spice, white flowers, melon, stone, nougat and white pepper. The palate shows a real hazelnut nougat angle with a nice swoop of texture, clotted cream and a finish that has some pleasing minerality of softly spoken oak nuance allowing the stone and citrus fruits to speak clearly. Points: 91/100
