Vinification
Grapes are harvested by hand and put in small cases in order not to damage the fruits. Grapes are pressed
softly, they ferment in oak barrels produced by our cooperage. 1/3 are new barrels. Aging usually lasts 15
months on fine lies before bottling.

Region Notes
The Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru appellation is shared by the two villages Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-
Vergelesses in the Northern part of the Côte de Beaune. The village of Aloxe-Corton has the rare ability of
having over half of its area covered by Grand Cru vineyards. The exposure ranges from east to south and
southwest.
