Vinification
Pinot Noir was harvested entirely from the Estate with 80% from
Block 1 and 20% from Block 10 using a selective destemming
harvester during the cool of the night. The juice was treated
oxidatively, whole berry pressed and cool settled in tank off
heaviest solids. The juice was fermented in cooler temperatures of
13-15 degrees through to dryness.
Range Notes
The Mountadam Vineyards Five Fifty range is aptly named after
the Estates altitude of 550m above sea level.
