The NON wine alternatives are some of my preferred on the market because from inception they have been about providing a delicious drink…full stop. They build their products with the consideration for all the senses. The 5 is case in point, here you’ll find the singing aromas of hibiscus, floral and with real berry intensity, this is lifted by the lemon myrtle freshness. Peppermint swings in like a cooling breeze. There is a fine foamy bead with some dried hay and grass in the middle palate and a sweet and very slight bitter kick at the finish. Thoughtful consideration has been made to limit any excess sugar and the Murray River Salt acts as a moreish salinity, asking you for a refill. Served chilled this is a delightful aperitif but slightly less cold and this can accompany a New York strip loin or any crispy bacon goodness. I really can’t speak highly enough of these drinks. Points: 96/100
