Medium-light brick-red with a bouquet of meaty, rusty metal and slightly sweaty aromas. It's quite lean, not a big wine but nicely balanced and well supplied with supple, fleshy tannins. There's not a great lot of detail at this juncture, while it has intensity and length, the drying savoury tannins appropriately balanced. Points: 93/100
Very enticing, almost incense-like nose, featuring ripe red berries, cranberries, roses and a blend of roasting spices. Medium-to full-bodied with a silky front-palate, then a light build of firm tannin. This shows good heart and soul and will even out into a very good wine. Give it time. Try from 2024.
