Rising pays homage to the majestic Rising Vineyard, nestled in a valley on the outskirts of the beautiful township of St Andrews - set among unspoiled bushland and rolling hills in the Nillumbik Shire. Here, the terroir is the hero – old, degraded soils, multiple altitudes and aspects. The winemaking style is all about handpicked fruit, small open pot fermentation, and wild yeasts. The small batch, hands-off approach creates wines of individuality and authenticity.
