Tony “Snake” Davis’s approach to winemaking is honest, passionate and highly skilled with 30 years’ experience. His attitude is irreverent, frank and rebellious. It’s a small, bespoke operation and his wines are textural, expressive and to be enjoyed. Snake and Herring’s vineyard philosophy reflects their commitment to long-term, sustainable stewardship. With their own managed Margaret River vineyard sites now in organic conversion, they manage their vineyards with an absolute focus on the soil as the building block to vine health.
