Whole-bunch pressed to French oak hogsheads (15% new) for fermentation followed by 11 months' maturation in oak on lees. Reduced yields and concentrated fruit quality are the hallmarks of the '22 vintage on the Peninsula. It shows here in a wine of impressive tension and depth of flavour. Brings white peach, citrus, quince and almond meal backed with some classy, nutty, restrained French oak. An attractive synergy between concentration of fruit, oak and texture. Points: 92/100
