Medium depth of bright red-purple colour; the aromas are all pinoty raspberry, red cherry and gently stemmy aromas. Beautifully handled whole-bunch characters. Sweet fragrant herbs and strawberry jam overtones. Very inviting. In the mouth it is intense and vibrant, medium bodied and driving long on the after-palate. Delicious pinot with reat depth of sweet varietal fruit embellished with lots of detail. Points: 93/100

10% whole bunch, open pot fermentation, aged 11 months in French oak (20% new). A breezy, easy-to-love pinot noir that brings more than a touch of Peninsula elegance to the glass. Is it the fresh acidity, the cherry pip dry tannins or the finely delivered cherry, cranberry, blood orange zest, earth and herbs? It's all three. They work so well together. With flavours like that, it will be hard to keep in the cellar. Points: 92/100
