Veuve Ambal was established in the heart of Burgundy in 1898, by Veuve Marie Ambal, at a time when ‘méthod traditionnelle’ was being introduced for sparkling wines. The company remains family owned and operated, currently run by 6th generation, Eric Piffaut and his son Aurélien. Together, they use their expertise and knowledge to continue the family tradition of producing high quality wines and increasing the notoriety of the appellation. They hold over 280 hectares of vineyards in six different sub-regions of Burgundy, mainly planted to pinot noir and chardonnay. The largest producer and market leaders in the production of AOC Crémant de Bourgogne.
