Perbacco is Vietti’s gateway into its Nebbiolo wines, and includes lots from some of Barolo’s top MGAs that don’t make it into the estate’s classic Barolo, as well as a contributing element from Barbaresco. This 2022 highlights the grape’s floral side with fragrances of fresh cut rose and lilac. Midweight and built around forest berries, the palate sports ample density and backbone for this category. The tannins are a bit dry and compact at the moment but ultimately polished. Points: 90/100
