Jane Faulkner
Made with roughly an even split of chardonnay and pinot noir, 13% reserve wine from ’19, on tirage lees for five years and disgorged Sept ‘25. A pale-gold hue with poached quince, dried orange peel, quite aldehydic with yeasty/miso/vegemite flavours. There’s a lemony saline/sea-breeze character that’s appealing, and while the mousse gives the impression of volume, this is crisp and finishes very dry. Points: 91/100
