It's a wine that will take a chill and that element is precisely what elevates its approachability. The fruit skips about joyously. Think blueberries and blueberry jam, squishy mulberries, ripe raspberries and shimmers of earthiness with a rattle of fine spices. A little dark chocolate taps away in the background but there is no mistaking the energy and synchronicity this exudes. Sure, it's a polished, commercial style, but this will be lauded and find a lot of friends. Great stuff and a smart example of a summer red. Points: 91/100
