The team behind this pleasing Rosé use organic farming methods. Their unashamed aim is to “capture the essence of Australian sunshine in a bottle”. The colour here is a gleaming, last vestiges of sunset, pink. On the nose, we have notes of florals, cherries, crisp red apples, spices and a touch of strawberries. The wine is of medium length and has a pleasing freshness, with a juicy finish. Enjoy over the next couple of years. Points: 91/100
If easy-drinking Rosé is on your list, this Days & Daze ticks the box with ease. From certified organic vineyards in McLaren Vale, its simplicity and approachability are certainly its strengths. No mention of variety is listed for distributor Joval; this is quite a polished and commercial style that I can see being splashed liberally at bars and restaurants. Watermelon, white raspberries, strawberries and cream muse freely with a delightful lick of red apple skin. Softly spiced to close, it's quite slurpable and calling for another glass comes sooner than expected. Good stuff. Points: 90/100
