An easy drinking style destined to provide immediate gratification, the colour is a deep yellow/pale orange. To be honest, most people would assume this is a Rosé, and would be staggered to learn that it is a grape we consider white. Of course, Pinot Gris can certainly provide colour, with the ‘Gris’ translating to grey. A bright style comes out there with notes of florals and hints of stewed apples. This is a Pinot Gris that you could swill for days and days, pardon the pun. Joyous, approachable and damn delicious, this Days & Daze made me sit bolt upright. From certified organic vines in McLaren Vale, this was made for distributor Joval. Awash with golden apple, poached pears, cinnamon quill, slight honey tones and soft white pepper, there is a fine textural appeal that is feathered through the mouth delivering Mediterranean tonic vibes. The acid is well handled with a little zip for good measure. Best of all, the incredible flow and approachability light this up and ensure that this will find a horde of fans in no time. Yes! Points: 92/100
