Established in Chichée in the late 1980’s by Christine and Jean-Claude Oudin, Domaine Oudin is led by daughters Nathalie and Isabelle. This 10 hectare estate is farmed organically on stony limestone soils. The wines are wild fermented, with extensive ageing sur lie; there is not a single oak barrel in the winery. The AOC Chablis comes from 50-year-old vines on the left bank of the Serein River, alongside Vaugiraut Premier Cru (part of Vosgros). Domaine Oudin’s Vaucoupin Premier Cru parcel, on the right bank of the Serein, was planted over seventy years ago, and abuts the lieu-dit ‘Les Serres’.
