An unwooded, early drinking style, the wine has intense varietal characteristics with aromas of limes, sweet
fruit, and some spice.
Palate
The fruit sweetness on the palate is balanced by a refreshingly crisp acid finish.
Vinification
Harvest took place in the early hours of the morning when the fruit is at its coolest. The grapes were lightly
pressed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures before bottling early to maintain
freshness.
Vintage Notes
2026 was an early, compressed vintage with a growing season that was warm and dry, with rain at just the
right times, to ensure the vines produced abundant, pristine fruit, producing wines with purity and intense fruit
characters.

For five generations and since 1858, Tyrrell’s has called the Hunter Valley home. The amassed knowledge built
over 170 years allows us to select the best vineyard sites across the Hunter Valley to create our Tyrrell’s Range
of wines, which are benchmark examples of the varietals that have become icons of our beloved region.
Region Notes
Tyrrell’s Verdelho is a blend of two of the best parcels of Verdelho fruit of the vintage. This wine was sourced
from the Pokolbin Hills and Stevens vineyards which are both situated at the southern end of Pokolbin, at the
base of the Brokenback range.
