Established by Edward Tyrrell in 1858, Tyrrell’s is the oldest continuously family-owned and operated winery in the Hunter Valley, synonymous with the region's excellence. For almost 170 years, Tyrrell’s has been a pioneer in both the Hunter Valley and Australian wine industries. Tyrrell's produces some of Australia’s most awarded wines and is known as the benchmark producer of Semillon globally. The Tyrrell Family Estate is home to some of the oldest vineyards in the world, with eight over a century old. Handed down through five generations, the company is now managed by Chris Tyrrell.
